24 Countries and Regions Set for HADO WORLD CUP 2026 in Shanghai

The participating countries and regions for the HADO WORLD CUP 2026 have officially been confirmed. Representative teams from 24 countries and regions around the world will gather in Shanghai this November to compete on HADO's biggest international stage.

This year's lineup spans Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa, including:

Australia, Belgium, China, Chinese Taipei, Cyprus, England, France, Greece, Hong Kong, China, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, New Zealand, North Macedonia, the Philippines, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Spain, Türkiye, the United States of America and Wales.

From established HADO powers in East Asia to fast-growing communities across Europe and other emerging markets, more countries and regions are becoming part of HADO's international competitive landscape. The gathering of 24 national and regional teams will make this year's World Cup another truly global competition.

As HADO's highest-level international tournament, the HADO WORLD CUP brings together leading athletes and representative teams from around the world to compete for the title of World Champion. As its global footprint continues to expand, the event has grown beyond competition itself, becoming an important platform for athletes, organizations and HADO communities from different markets to connect and exchange.

HADO also represents a form of competition that is distinct from both traditional sports and conventional esports.

On the court, athletes run, dodge, make split-second decisions, attack, defend and work as a team, while using technologies such as augmented reality and spatial computing to compete in real time. Physical movement and digital technology come together within the same competitive space, making technology not simply a supporting tool, but an integral part of the sporting experience.

Over the past few years, as HADO has continued to grow across different countries and regions, this new form of competition has been reaching an increasingly global community of athletes and fans.

This November, the world of HADO will once again turn its attention to Shanghai.

Athletes from different cultures, speaking different languages and bringing different competitive styles, will meet on the same stage.

The world gathers. Shanghai awaits.
